Ingredients of Simple Fried Rice:
  • 1-2 cups cooked and cooled long grain rice for 1 serving
  • 1 tablespoons vegetable oil, for frying cooked rice and ingredients
  • 1 medium onion, crushed with,
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoons dark soy sauce
  • Pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper, finely chopped
Optional ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 shrimp cracker
  • 1/2 – 1 tomato, cucumber or carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 lb. cooked sliced skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp
  • Water
  1. Prepare the cooked rice
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in pan
  3. Put crushed onion and garlic and chili powder.
  4. Put the rice, add soy sauce, and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, to taste.
  5. Combine and stir well, cooking for 5 to 6 minutes.

  6. If the mixture becomes too dry, add some water, or even a beaten egg.
  7. Remove from the heat and serve on a large plate.
  8. Garnish as desired, such as tomato, cucumber, carrot or cooked chicken
  9. Done!
